Holton Lee is a centre of wellbeing that provides opportunities for disabled people to flourish through the arts, horticulture and the environment. The estate covers an area of approximately 350 acres, most of which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and is located on the edge of Lytchett Bay, the northern most part of Poole Harbour. Some of the land is farmed; the remaining areas form a mosaic of landscapes and habitats which include reed bed, deciduous woodland, coniferous woodland, meadows and heathland. The site has many accessible paths and trails for visitors to follow and explore.
A variety of off-road mobility vehicles can be hired from Holton Lee which include 5 Trampers (one with joystick control), golf buggies and the ambug (which will accommodate up to 6 people, including wheelchair users).
Please note the Trampers are available to hire Monday to Friday but not at weekends.
Located around the site are seats, marker posts and maps to guide you. Access is also available to horticultural areas, bird hides, viewing points, fixed orienteering route and geocaches which are located throughout the Estate.
