Perched on the edge of the Cotswolds escarpment Crickley Hill Country Park offers the visitor the chance to experience prehistoric sites dating back six thousand years, ancient beech woodlands, wild flower rich grasslands and some of the finest views in the Cotswolds.
Hiring the Tramper - The Tramper is usually available for hire Monday to Friday. As there is only a small staff team at the location it is strongly recommended to book ahead. If not booking ahead, availability cannot be guarenteed.
To book the Tramper:
- Tel: 01452 383 333
- Email: [email protected]
- To avoid confusion, state that it is the Tramper at Crickley Hill that you wish to hire (the Wildlife Trust also operates the Tramper at Robinswood Hill)
There are a range of trails that can be explored on the Tramper at Crickley Hill, including one of the most beautiful sections of the Cotswold Way National Trail:
- Tramper users must be accompanied by a non-disabled person for safety reasons at this site.
- Path surfaces - tarmac, some uneven ground and tree roots in places.
- Path gradients - mostly flat, few steep sections, one cross slope
