Use Your Outdoor Mobility Membership to Access 50+ Locations!
We hope you are enjoying using Outdoor Mobility. It's something close to our hearts as we worked closely with the charity to help them set up a scheme similar to the Countryside Mobility one.
While there are differences in how we operate the safety procedures for setting up a hire location, hiring out Trampers and the Tramper induction are based on our tried and tested system. Therefore we are delighted to be able to offer Outdoor Mobility members the chance to use their membership at Countryside Mobility partner locations.
As Countryside Mobility has been operating since 2010 we have now grown to a network of nearly 60 locations. We're primarily based in the South West but there are a few in the West Midlands and Wales too.
How to Hire at a Countryside Mobility location
1. Book Your Tramper Direct with the Hire Location - Unlike Outdoor Mobility we don't have the ability to be able to manage Tramper bookings centrally and online. Therefore you'll need to contact the location that you are interested in visiting directly. Browse our Locations section and choose where you'd like to go. They will have a dedicated webpage which will include the phone number and/ or email to use to contact the location and book a Tramper. (While you may be able to hire on the spot, most hire locations only have one Tramper and may have staff limitations, so we always advise booking ahead to avoid disappointment).
2. Take Your Outdoor Mobility Confirmation Email as Proof of Membership - When you are planning to hire at a Countryside Mobility location ensure that you take a print out of the email you received when taking out your Outdoor Mobility Membership (an email may be sufficient but print out is preferred). If you have mislaid this then please contact Outdoor Mobility with as much notice as possible so they can look to provide a replacement confirmation. You will need to present this to the person hiring the Tramper to you. This should avoid you being asked to join Countryside Mobility.
We hope you enjoy exploring the Countryside Mobility network of locations.
