The Granite Way runs from Okehampton to Lydford along the north west edge of the granite massif of Dartmoor. The route follows the course of the former Southern Region railway line.
The Tramper can be used on a 5 mile section of the off-road route between Meldon Quarry and Southerly Halt. There are spectacular views of Meldon Viaduct and Dartmoor.

There is NO accessible toilet at the hire base but public toilets are available nearby at Sourton. This Tramper site is being supported by Devon County Council.
