Countryside Mobility wins a Highly Commended Award at the 2014 VisitEngland Awards for Excellence!

Living Options Devon’s Countryside Mobility scheme has won a Highly Commended Award in the Access for All category at the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2014 Ceremony.

A Highly Commended Award is a considerable achievement and recognises Excellence in Tourism in England. Countryside Mobility was presented with their Highly Commended Award at a glittering Awards Ceremony which was held on 12 May 2014 at The Jockey Club, Cheltenham Racecourse, Cheltenham.

Commenting on the Award James Berresford, VisitEngland’s Chief Executive said “It is a great achievement to win a Highly Commended Award in a field of very high quality applications. The Award places Countryside Mobility in the top five businesses for excellence in their category in England.  I warmly congratulate them on this achievement.”

Diana Crump, Living Options Devon’s Chief Executive was thrilled with the news commenting: “It is an honour that Countryside Mobility made the finals of the Visit England Awards for Excellence and Living Options Devon feels extremely proud to host such an innovative and important regional access for all project. The South West was well represented at this years awards and it's a privilege to be a part of the South West success, to fly the flag for the disabled community and to be recognised at national level.”

The Countryside Mobility team received their award from James Berresford, VisitEngland’s Chief Executive and Chairman Penelope, Viscountess Cobham.
