About us and Our Disability Mobility Scheme

About us

The Countryside Mobility scheme is working to improve access to the countryside for people with limited mobility living in and visiting the South West region. Tramper mobility scooters and wheelchair accessible Wheelyboats are available for hire at locations across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Somerset.

The scheme is managed by Living Options Devon (LOD), a charitable organisation that exists to ensure people with physical and/or sensory disabilities and Deaf people with sign language can make an active and equal contribution in society. For more information visit www.livingoptions.org.

The scheme is being supported with a grant from Natural England as part of its Access to Nature programme, funded from the Big Lottery Fund’s Changing Spaces programme.

If you would like any further information about the Countryside Mobility scheme you can contact us using the details below. You can also VISIT OUR BLOG to keep up to date with news on how the project is progressing or READ OUR NEWSLETTERS.
